Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt

Yellow Belts are trained/certified individuals who maintain a general knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma approach and basic methodologies and tools.  They are considered prime candidates to participate on Lean Six Sigma teams.  Yellow Belts are empowered to provide more meaningful assistance through dedicated projects, and their day-to-day roles toward the organization’s performance goals.  Register online here.

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification training includes:

4 evening sessions containing instruction and interactive exercises

  • June 13: 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • June 14: 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • June 15: 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
  • June 16: 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

            - Graphical displays of data

            - Basic statistics

            - Introduction to hypothesis testing

  • The tools of Improve

             - Generating improvement ideas

             - Testing improvement ideas

             - Pilot testing improvements

             - Implementing improvements

  • The tools of Control

             - Standard work and other documentation

             - Control plans

             - Levels of control

             - Project hand-off and closure

III. Course closure and LSS exam
