Lead Auditor Course Description:
This five-day course is
designed to provide practical training to personnel responsible for external quality
audits including supplier audits. It focuses on the requirements of the ISO 9000 standards
for quality management systems and the ISO 10011 standards for quality systems auditing.
The course is approved and registered by the International Register for Certified Auditors
(IRCA/IATCA) and satisfies the formal training prerequisite for individuals seeking
auditor/lead auditor registration through IRCA/IATCA as well as the American Register
Accreditation Board (RAB).
This course offers instruction, discussion, company case studies and presentations to
potential assessors and lead assessors. It is designed to facilitate understanding and
participation in all activities covered and to provide delegates with the knowledge and
skills in assessment techniques to carry out quality assessments.
Assessment and certification bodies are now taking a closer look at how companies train
their employees particularly for managing quality and carrying out audits. During this 5-day
course, instructors carry out a continuous assessment of each delegate’s
participation, application, comprehension, teamwork, course contribution, work
presentation and personal communication skills. An overall pass mark of 70% is required to
qualify for a Certificate of Training.

The course fee covers a comprehensive training
program, training manual and originals of the applicable ISO 9000 standard and
certification examination. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. The course
fee does not cover travel or hotel accommodations costs.
