ISO 13485:2003 Internal Quality System Auditing

We Can Perform Your ISO 9001 or AS9001 Required Internal Audits

If you are already ISO 9001 certified or AS9100 certified you know the scheduling challenges and other issues you face when the required internal audits are due.

Many companies are finding it beneficial to hire a consultant to conduct these audits. We have never seen any Registrar who objects to this arrangement as long as the consult has recognized auditing credentials.

Here are a few of the advantages:
- a separate outside pair of eyes assesses the system using the company’s own procedures and processes (that is why it is still an internal audit rather than an external audit);
- an outside experienced auditor has seen various and diverse systems and can better make suggestions for improving and easing administration of your quality management system (and that is definitely one of the goals of an effective internal audit program);
- an experience auditor can better make suggestions for simplifying the company’s procedures since they have seen what works and what doesn’t;
potential non-conformances are averted before they come to the attention of the Registrar’s auditor during the required surveillance audit;
- frees up the company’s own staff to do their regular jobs.

All our auditors are certified Lead ISO 9001 Auditors through a national accreditation body and have at least 10 years full time ISO or AS experience working with a variety of companies.
