Strategic Planning for Balanced Results
(Management by Objectives for Results)

     
  COURSE SUMMARY 7 hours (.7CEUs)
This one day workshop leads participants step-by-step through development of their strategic plan using 1) Key Result Areas, 2) Measurable Indicators, 3) Specific Objectives and 4) Action Plans.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Participants will have accomplished the following:
a. Reviewed the Mission, Vision and Values for their company/department.
b. Selected the “critical few” Key Result Areas (KRA) from a list of their total present job
responsibilities.
c. Identified the meaningful, observable dimensions within each Key Result Area which must be
monitored, maintained and/or improved.
d. Written an objective related to the Key Result Areas within their own jobs.
e. Developed an action plan to insure the accomplishment of at least one job-related objective.
f. Developed objectives and action plans for using MBOR to enrich planning, performing and self-
control in their organization.
2. Participants will be prepared to apply MBOR as stewards of all aspects of their position.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All senior leaders (CEO, VP, Directors, Managers) with responsibilities for development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.

  PRE-REQUISITES:
None. Attendees should come prepared to develop values, vision and mission of their specific level of the organization. From this viewpoint they will develop the KRAs, Objectives and Action Plans.
