January MSQP and ASQ-Memphis Education Program
**** Statistical Process Control – this course will present both
attribute and variables control charts for monitoring and
controlling a process. This will be a “hands-on” class demonstrating
the use of the control charts. Both process control and process
capability will be discussed.
Benefits/Learning Objectives – How to monitor and manage front-line
process performance which directly impacts the product costs. How
are you managing your processes and front-line costs?
Schedule: January 10, 17, and 24, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location is: TBD; Course fee is $150.00
Class size is limited so register early; minimum class size is
required for this course to be offered. ASQ continuing education
credit is .6 RU’s for the completion of this course.
**** Problem Solving & Quality Tools – this course will present a
proven problem solving process that can be applied to any situation.
The quality tools will be presented as needed within the problem
solving demonstration. This will be a “hands-on” class; problems
will be solving during this session. Bring examples of your problems
so that they can be shared and worked-on during this session.
Benefits/Learning Objectives – How to solve a problem in a timely
manner while finding the true “cause” and developing a correct
solution. After this training, you will not be solving a problem for
a second (or third) time; one “good” problem solving is all that is
required to end those nagging problems.
Schedule: January 12, 19, and 26, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

how to improve quality, costs, and process lead-time.
Benefits/Learning Objectives – You understand how to improve
quality, costs and lead-time for any of your many processes. These
